When market needs for different cements have to be fulfilled, multicompartment silos of the central cone design allow a variety of options. This multi compartment silo was built at the cement grinding plant Val de Seine, Rouen in Northern France. The silo of the central cone design consists of 7 compartments for the storage of different types of cement. The discharge capacity for each silo compartment is 250 t/h. The installation does also have a mixing plant with an IBAU Batch-type mixer, type IB-M 8000. The installation includes 3 bulk loading stations.
