This ship unloader is a so-called high-capacity ship unloader for the 40,000 dwt ship class. The ship unloader has a travelling distance of 200 m, and the installation includes 2 IBAU Pumps IB-D 350 for the storage silo feeding with a capacity of 250 t/h each and a conveying distance of 300 m.
With a weight of about 240 tons, this new type of ship unloader belongs to the lightweight construction class, whereas we have managed to maintain its efficiency, reliability, and stability, thus establishing a new standard. New standards are also set concerning the energy consumption for the unloading and the cement transport, as it is less than 0.5 kwh/t.
