The mixing plant of Dornburger Zement in Dorndorf-Steudnitz, Germany, was designed for producing specialised CEM II binders. The storage capacity for raw materials and finished products is with 1360 m3 relatively small. Therefore the 8 silos, which are integrated in the mixing tower, are constructed entirely of steel.
